About Us
Gardiners Opticians Ltd is an independent company originally established in 1923 providing a professional optical service in a personal way to the population of Oxford and the surrounding areas.
Through over 100 years of experience we aim to give the individual patient the best clinical care and advice that we can in the consulting room, from the type of spectacle lens to frame design, to enhance the patient's desired image.
Within the practice we have three well equipped consulting rooms including one on the ground level giving access for elderly or disabled people.
A home, “domiciliary”, visit service is available for patients who are unable to visit the practice unaccompanied.
A company VDU eye examination and industrial safety spectacle service is also provided.

Our Eye Examinations
Gardiners Opticians provides a full range of professional ophthalmic services to care for eyesight and to aid in the detection of abnormal eye conditions, (such as glaucoma, cataracts and diabetes), with the prescribing of corrective spectacle lenses and contact lenses to correct vision as required.
